Bodde claims he is due back today

FERRIE Bodde has claimed he is not due back at Swansea City until today after Paul Sousa accused him of failing to turn up at pre-season training.

Swansea's new manager said Bodde had shown a lack of respect following his no-show on Monday.

But the Dutch playmaker has insisted that it was agreed he wouldn't be back until today.

That claim comes despite the fact that a spokesman for Bodde told the Post earlier this week that he could not say when the 27-year-old would be back in Wales.

Like last summer, when Derby County pursued Bodde, Swansea have banned the player from doing interviews.

But he has spoken to Dutch magazine Voetbal International.

"The reports amaze me," said Bodde, who is still recovering from a cruciate ligament injury.
